Know the boundaries
A clean automated scan does not mean every barrier is gone. Reports keep tested samples, manual checks and evidence limitations visible.
We read robots.txt and sitemaps and discover public URLs within the plan cap. Similar DOM structures are grouped into templates; representative samples are tested. Affected-page counts based on cluster size are estimates, not confirmation that every URL was checked.
Keyboard journeys, meaningful alternative text, focus order and complete screen-reader flows need human assessment. Incomplete automated results remain separate from failures. Human audits, implementation work and legal advice are not included in a software subscription.
Remediation events form an append-only hash chain, exportable as JSON and CSV. Hashes help detect changes against a trusted copy. They are not independent timestamps and cannot stop a privileged operator rebuilding a whole chain. Keep dated exports outside the platform for independent comparison.
The EAA covers specified products and services, not every website. The service-provider microenterprise exemption involves fewer than ten employees and annual turnover and/or an annual balance-sheet total not exceeding €2 million. Other exemptions and national requirements can matter; confirm your scope with an appropriate adviser.
